Hip 226, a colt by War Front, sold for $995,000 as the penultimate offering of The Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown colt was purchased by Godolphin from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

This colt is a full brother to Avenge, a $650,000 graduate of the 2013 Saratoga Sale who captured last term’s Rodeo Drive S. (G1) at Santa Anita. He is also a half-sibling to multiple stakes winner Lira. The immediate family further includes Grade/Group 1 winners Mashaallah, Folk Art, and Local Talent.

Hip 226 was bred in Kentucky by Tada Nobutaka.

Hip 198, a filly from the first crop of Hopeful S. (G1) winner Strong Mandate, sold for $825,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown filly was purchased by Live Oak Plantation from the consignment of Bacarri Bloodstock, agent.

This filly is a half-sister to four winners from as many to race out of the graded stakes winning Graeme Hall mare Graeme Six, including graded stakes winners Cali Star and Delightful Joy and recent stakes winner Seymourdini.

Hip 198 was bred in Kentucky by Three Chimneys Farm and Besilu Stables.

Hip 186, a colt by popular young sire Orb, sold for $1,000,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The chestnut colt was purchased by Kerri Radcliffe Bloodstock from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

This colt is the first foal out of the graded stakes winning Flashy Bull mare Flashy American. That mare sold carrying this colt at the 2016 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale for $395,000. He colt was offered at the 2016 Fasig-Tipton November Sale as a selected weanling, where he fetched $310,000. He is from the immediate family of multiple graded stakes winner I’m Already Sexy.

Hip 186 was bred in Kentucky by Gainesway Thoroughbreds, Brian Graves, Kidder-Cole, et al.

Hip 181, a filly from the second crop of Kentucky Derby (G1) Orb, sold for $750,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown filly was purchased by Solis/Litt from the consignment of Four Star Sales, agent.

This filly is a three-quarter sister to Saratoga Special S. (G2) winner Corfu, by Malibu Moon, out of the winning Forest Wildcat mare Fashion Cat. Fashion Cat, who has produced three winners to date, is a half-sister to three-time Grade 1 winner and $3,000,000 earner Peace Rules and to multiple stakes winner Wild Fashion.

Hip 181 was bred in Kentucky by SF Bloodstock.

Hip 165, a filly by three-time leading sire Tapit, sold for $675,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The bay filly was purchased by Kerri Radcliffe Bloodstock from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

This filly is the first foul out of multiple graded stakes placed stakes winner Colonial Flag, by Pleasant Tap. Colonial Flag is a half-sister to three other winners, including Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G1) winner Shared Account. Her immediate family further includes graded stakes winners Pok Ta Pok, Eagleton, Sapphire n’ Silk, Shaniko, and Golden Itiz.

Hip 165 was bred in Kentucky by Alpha Delta Stables.

Hip 163, a colt by Malibu Moon, sold for $700,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by Spendthrift Farm, which stands Malibu Moon, from the consignment of Four Star Sales, agent.

This colt is second foal out of the unraced Street Cry (IRE) mare Cloud Jumper, a daughter of multiple stakes winner Storm Beauty. Cloud Jumper is a half-sister to five winners, including graded stakes winner Buffum and multiple stakes winner Stormy West. This is the immediate family of Horse of the Year Dayjur, champion Sky Beauty, and Grade 1 winners Maplejinsky, Pleasant Home, and Tale of Ekati.

Hip 163 was bred in Pennsylvania by Burshwood Stable.

Hip 132, a filly by Scat Daddy, sire of four winners during the prestigious Royal Ascot meet this past June, sold for $800,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown filly was purchased by Kerri Radcliffe Bloodstock from the consignment of Hunter Valley Farm, agent.

This filly is the first foal out of the Mr. Greeley mare Auction (IRE), a stakes-placed winner in England. That mare is out of multiple group stakes winner Exhibit One, who also produced multiple graded stakes-placed winner Maitres d’Art. The immediate family includes European champion and Two Thousand Guineas (G1) winner Zafonic and graded/group stakes winners Zamindar and Daring Love.

Hip 132 was bred in Kentucky by Samac.

Hip 129, a colt from the second North American crop of champion Animal Kingdom, sold for $750,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by OXO Equine from the consignment of Gainesway.

Animal Kingdom is currently the second leading first crop sire by number of blacktype stakes winners, which include undefeated Debutante S. winner Sunny Skies and last weekend’s Graduate S. winner Continental Divide.

This colt is a half-brother to one winner from as many to race out of the unraced Master Command mare Art Teacher, a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Indian Firewater. He is from the immediate family of graded stakes winners Four Flings and Rugged Bugger.

Hip 129 was bred in Kentucky by by T.F. VanMeter.

Hip 114, a colt by champion Uncle Mo, sold for $700,000 early in the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by OXO Equine from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.

The second foal of the Bernardini mare Zetta Z, this colt is a descendant of Breeders’ Cup Distaff (G1) winner Unbridled Elaine. That mare is responsible for graded stakes winners Etched, Emotionless, and Out of Bounds. Unbridled Elaine is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Glitter Woman, who produced Grade 1 winner Political Force, and to Gwenjinsky, who produced three stakes winners, including multiple Grade 2 winner Lead Story.

Hip 114 was bred in Kentucky by CASA Farms.
