Hip 226, a colt by War Front, sold for $995,000 as the penultimate offering of The Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown colt was purchased by Godolphin from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.
This colt is a full brother to Avenge, a $650,000 graduate of the 2013 Saratoga Sale who captured last term’s Rodeo Drive S. (G1) at Santa Anita. He is also a half-sibling to multiple stakes winner Lira. The immediate family further includes Grade/Group 1 winners Mashaallah, Folk Art, and Local Talent.

This filly is a half-sister to four winners from as many to race out of the graded stakes winning Graeme Hall mare Graeme Six, including graded stakes winners Cali Star and Delightful Joy and recent stakes winner Seymourdini.

Hip 186, a colt by popular young sire Orb, sold for $1,000,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The chestnut colt was purchased by Kerri Radcliffe Bloodstock from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.
This colt is the first foal out of the graded stakes winning Flashy Bull mare Flashy American. That mare sold carrying this colt at the 2016 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale for $395,000. He colt was offered at the 2016 Fasig-Tipton November Sale as a selected weanling, where he fetched $310,000. He is from the immediate family of multiple graded stakes winner I’m Already Sexy.

This filly is a three-quarter sister to Saratoga Special S. (G2) winner Corfu, by Malibu Moon, out of the winning Forest Wildcat mare Fashion Cat. Fashion Cat, who has produced three winners to date, is a half-sister to three-time Grade 1 winner and $3,000,000 earner Peace Rules and to multiple stakes winner Wild Fashion.

This filly is the first foal out of the Mr. Greeley mare Auction (IRE), a stakes-placed winner in England. That mare is out of multiple group stakes winner Exhibit One, who also produced multiple graded stakes-placed winner Maitres d’Art. The immediate family includes European champion and Two Thousand Guineas (G1) winner Zafonic and graded/group stakes winners Zamindar and Daring Love.

Hip 129, a colt from the second North American crop of champion Animal Kingdom, sold for $750,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by OXO Equine from the consignment of Gainesway.
Animal Kingdom is currently the second leading first crop sire by number of blacktype stakes winners, which include undefeated Debutante S. winner Sunny Skies and last weekend’s Graduate S. winner Continental Divide.
This colt is a half-brother to one winner from as many to race out of the unraced Master Command mare Art Teacher, a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Indian Firewater. He is from the immediate family of graded stakes winners Four Flings and Rugged Bugger.

Unbridled Elaine is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Glitter Woman, who produced Grade 1 winner Political Force, and to Gwenjinsky, who produced three stakes winners, including multiple Grade 2 winner Lead Story.
