Hip 111 c. Pioneerof the Nile-Ocean Goddess ($950k)

Hip 111, a colt by Triple Crown sire PIONEEROF THE NILE sold for $950,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by Stonestreet Stables and M.V. Magnier from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

The colt is the second foal of the winning Stormy Atlantic mare Ocean Goddess, making him a half brother to graded stakes winner Ocean Knight. His immediate family further includes graded stakes winners Winter Melody and Brazen Persuasion. Hip 111 was bred in Kentucky by Thoro-Bred Stables.

Hip 108 f. Tapit-New Normal ($500k)

Hip 108, a filly by leading sire TAPIT sold for $500,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The gray or roan filly was purchased by China Horse Club from the consignment of Timber Town, agent.

Out of New Normal, a graded stakes winning daughter of Forestry, this filly hails from the immediate family of Grade 1 winners Noble’s Promise, Soaring Softly, and Plenty of Grace. She was bred in Kentucky by R. S. Evans.

Hip 63 c. Uncle Mo-Jody Slew ($550k)

Hip 63, a colt by UNCLE MO sold for $550,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by Crupi’s New Castle Farm, agent from the consignment of James M. Herbener, Jr., agent.

Out of the Grade 3 winning Slew City Slew mare Jody Slew, this colt’s immediate family includes champion Grade 1 winners Green Forest and Epitome. Hip 63 was bred in Kentucky by Lochlow Farm.

Hip 61 f. Ghostzapper-Ivanavinalot ($800k)

Hip 61, a half sister to undefeated champion Songbird by GHOSTZAPPER jumped into the lead when sold for $800k during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown filly is a half sibling to four winners including five time Grade 1 winner Songbird, who is a graduate of the 2014 Saratoga Sale. Hip 61 was purchased by PTK from the consignment of Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.

Out of the Grade 2 winning West Acre mare Ivanavinalot, this popular offering is from the immediate family of Mico Margarita, Crafty Dude, That Lady, Ode to Elaine, Shananie’s Beat, and Slick Lady. The filly was bred in Kentucky by John Antonelli.

Hip 49 f. Tapit-Her Smile ($625k)

Hip 49, a filly by Tapit sold for $625,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The bay filly was purchased by Hugo Merry Bloodstock from the consignment of KatieRich Farms.

Hip 49 is the second foal out of Grade 1 winner Her Smile, a daughter of Include. The filly’s immediate family includes graded stakes winner Prospective Ruler and stakes winners Moon River, Favored Lady, and Izzy Speaking. Hip 49 was bred in Kentucky by KatieRich Farms.

Hip 46 c. Uncle Mo-Gypsy Sage ($650k)

Hip 46, a colt by UNCLE Mo sold for $650,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by China Horse Club from the consignment of Dromoland Farm, agent.

Hip 46 is the second foal out of the winning Hennessy mare Gypsy Sage. He hails from the immediate family of graded stakes winners Gulls Cry, Nemain, and Navesink. The colt was bred in Kentucky by Parrish Hill Farm & Ashford Stud.

Hip 45 c. Tapit-Great Hot (BRZ) ($650k)

Hip 45, a colt by leading sire TAPIT sold for $650,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown colt was purchased by Charles J. Zacney from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

This is the first foal out of multiple Grade 2 winner/multiple Grade 1 placed Great Hot (BRZ), a daughter or Orientate. The colt’s impressive family includes Grade 1 winners Field Cat, Hold That Tiger, Editor’s Note, Hennessy, and Pearl City. Hip 45 was bred in Kentucky by Gainesway.

Hip 40 c. Medaglia d’Oro-Globe Trot ($630k)

Hip 40, a colt by MEDAGLIA D’ORO sold for $630,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The bay colt was purchased by Ruis Racing from the consignment of Denali Stud, agent.

The second foal out of the winning A.P. Indy mare Globe Trot, Hip 40 hails from the immediate family of Grade 1 winner Zensational and graded stakes winners Departing and Clearly Foxy. The colt was bred in Kentucky by WinStar Farm.

Hip 30 c. Uncle Mo-Flirting With Fate ($650k)

Hip 30, a colt by popular young sire UNCLE MO sold for $650,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown colt was purchased by John C. Oxley from the consignment of Summerfield, agent.

Out of the winning Saint Ballado mare Flirting With Fate, Hip 30 is a half brother to Grade 1 winner Dance With Date, and hails from the immediate family of Grade 1 winner My Gallant. The colt was bred in Florida by Best A Luck Farm.

Hip 27 c. Tapit-Fashion Cat ($750k)

Hip 27, a colt by North America’s leading sire TAPIT sold for $750,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The gray or roan colt was purchased by China Horse Club from the consignment of Top Line Sales, agent.

Out of the winning Forest Wildcat mare Fashion Cat, Hip 27 is a half brother to Grade 2 winner Corfu (Malibu Moon). Fashion Cat herself is a half sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Peace Rules. The colt was bred in Kentucky by SF Bloodstock.

Hip 10 f. Uncle Mo-Dream Sweeper ($500k)

Hip 10, a filly by last term’s leading freshman sire UNCLE MO led the way early when sold for $500,000 during the first session of the Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown filly was purchased by Juddmonte Farms from the consignment of Warrendale Sales, agent.

Out of DREAM SWEEPER, a stakes-placed daughter of SALT LAKE, Hip 10 hails from the immediate family of Grade 1 winners DREAM RUSH and DREAMING OF JULIA. She was bred in Kentucky by Dr. Rod Orr.
