Hip 296: $190,000
ZONDAQ (Hip 296), a racing/broodmare prospect by Bernardini, sold for $190,000. Zondaq was purchased by New Providence Bloodstock from the consignment of Valkyre Stud, agent.
Zondaq is a three-year-old half sister to three stakes winners, including Grade 2 winners Discreet Dancer and Travelin Man. The filly is from the immediate family of Grade 1 winners A.P. Indy, Wolfhound, Ruler of the World, and Duke of Marmalade (IRE).
Hip 245 : $95,000
TITANIUM JO (Hip 245), a winner daughter of Bernstein, sold for $95,000. Titanium Jo was purchased by Bla Bla Bloodstock from the consignment of Hidden Brook, agent.
Titanium Jo is a four-year-old half sister to graded stakes winners Sara Louise (Malibu Moon) and Just Louise (Five Star Day). The three-time winner hails from the immediate family of graded stakes winners Til Forbid, Scoop, Looking Cool, Softly, and Coragil Cat.
Titanium Jo was offered as a racing and/or broodmare prospect.
Hip 228: $130,000
SUZY SAGE (Hip 228), in foal to champion Uncle Mo, sold for $130,000. Suzy Sage was purchased by Bluewater Sales, agent from the consignment of Burleson Farms, agent.
Suzy Sage is an unraced five-year-old daughter of Unbridled’s Song carrying her first foal. The mare’s immediate family includes a plethora of Grade 1 winners, including Too Chic, Queena, Chic Shirine, Brahms, Verrazano, Somali Lemonade, and Serra Lake.
Hip 151: $95,000
QUIET HOUR (Hip 151), a black-type placed winning daughter of Quiet American, sold for $95,000. Quiet Hour was purchased by Mulholland Springs from the consignment of Hidden Brook, agent.
Quiet Hour is a four-time winner with two stakes placings to her credit. She is a half sister to five winners, including juvenile stakes winner Away We Go. Quiet Hour sold as a broodmare prospect.
Hip 55: $210,000
MAGGIE D’ORO (Hip 55), a daughter of Medaglia d’Oro in foal to the late Scat Daddy, sold for $210,000. Maggie d’Oro was purchased by Green Lantern Stables from the consignment of Select Sales, agent.
Maggie d’Oro is half sister to nine winners, including SW/MGSP Gaff. She is pregnant with her second foal. Her first foal is a colt by Data Link born in 2015.
Hip 28: $100,000
LADY ZIEG (Hip 28), a stakes producing mare by Touch Gold, sold for $100,000. Lady Zieg was purchased by Fran & Ron Stolich from the consignment of Summerfield, agent.
Lady Zieg is a winning daughter of graded stakes winner Crystal Symphony. Crystal Symphony has also produced graded stakes winner Classic Campaign and stakes winners Lindelaan and Cuyahog. Lady Zieg is in foal to Eclipse Champion 3YO Colt Will Take Charge, whose first foals will arrive this year.
Hip 18: $167,000
KATERI (Hip 18), a four-year-old Indian Charlie mare in foal to young sire and G1 winner Paynter, sold for $167,000 early in the first session of the Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale. Kateri was purchased by Newtown Anner Stud from the consignment of Paramount Sales, agent.
Kateri is a half sister to Ogden Phipps H. (G1) winner Tiz Miz Sue, from the family of Eclipse Champion and Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1) winner Cozzene. She is pregnant with her first foal.
